But before I tell you who the lucky crafters are, a quick reminder about our May challenge. I think we might have frightened some of you away with our theme, but really it's not that bad, it's very much down to you how you want to interpret it. For example it could be a celebration of your own Countries involvement in the Olympics or just a sporty image, or even a beautifully coloured Queen or Princess. We have some fabulous prizes to be won, so I really hope you will join in the fun.
So now for our Spotlight winners, we had such a huge number of entries and selecting our favourites was so, so difficult, but here are the two entries we finally settled on.
Natasha had two beautiful entries and as we could not choose between the two thought it only right to display both and a few thoughts from the DT.........
"an adorable rainy day card that would brighten anyones day"..........."stunning"
"those balloons look as thought they could just float away"
Here is a little about me:
Hi, my name is Natasha and I am so excited to have two cards chosen by the design team for the Penny Black and More spotlight! I have been making cards now for about a year and a half. I started out with SU products then quickly started venturing out and purchasing other stamps.
I have just recently started blogging (around two months ago) and I enjoy sharing my cards with others. One of the most difficult things about making cards for me is the layout and patterned papers! Getting that just right is a challenge. :) I love coloring up stamped images and of course digital images too. I think my style leans more toward clean and simple, even though I do like to decorate my cards "a little". My favorite Penny Black stamps are of course the Hedgehogs! They are so darn cute!!! Well, that's a little about me. I would like to say Thank you to the team for spotlighting me! Natasha
Our second winner is Natalie with this equally beautiful piece of work and here's some of thee DT's comments...........
"a work of art and a beautiful scene"......."really gorgeous details".......
My name is Nataliya. I'm 32 years old and I am originally from Ukraine. My family and I have been living in Ireland for 9 years. I am married and we have 2 beautiful daughters. I started crafting 4 years ago and couldn't stop :))) I love to use stamped images on my cards, and especially I enjoy colouring them with copic markers. I also like trying different styles, shape cards with lace, ribbons, die cuts, pearls and lots of layers. I wish everyone all the best!! Enjoy your crafting and have fun!!! Hugs Natalie xx
Our thanks to each and every one of your for your fabulous entries and congratulations to Natasha and Nataliya's, I really hope you will pop over to their blog and show them your support, I know it would mean a great deal to both of them.
