May challenge

Good morning everyone, the first Sunday in the month means we have a new challenge for you, it's a theme chosen by DT Lynn who you can read a bit more about further down....

Vintage
(or Anything Goes option)

It's a theme that say's different things to each of us so we would love to see your takes on Vintage creations, or you can always fall back on the Anything Goes option. As always you can enter three times but there must be at least one stamped element on the front of entires to be eligible.

Two prizes, the first from Lisa Horton Crafts, coordinating embossing folder, die and stencil set and two dies from Highlight Crafts

We have news as well, we are pleased to introduce Denise as this months Guest Designer and on top of that we have two new full time Design Team members Emma and Karen, please join us in welcoming all three. And of course this means we have a bumper display of inspiration.

A little bit about Lynn's crafting journey:

My name is Lynn (called Linby in blogland) I've been on the DT since November 2011. I've always loved fashion and although the theme of vintage is not strictly about fashion, it is one of the elements that I personally favour. I especially love the the Art Deco period. Of course vintage is typically defined as being at least 20 years old but less than 100 years old so a wide period of time.

I realised the other day that many of my stamps are vintage! One had disintegrated and I realised I had bought it in the early 1990's. That is how long I have been stamping for, so I suppose I am also a vintage stamper lol!

April

Welcome to our April challenge, this month Alice has selected the theme which is

Spring
(with alternative of Anything Goes)

Alice loves her garden so the theme she says was an easy choice and we hope you will share lots of garden and Spring inspired creations - remember you can enter three times but  there must be at least one stamped element on the front of entires to be eligible.

Three prizes from AALL and Create, 1) Key Botanicals 2) See you Soon and 3) Hexagon stencil with Delicate Wings stamp

Here is a little about Alice: "I started my blog 10 years ago when I accidentally discovered the online world of crafters and the challenges: Wonderland! A place full of new techniques to learn and experiment, beautiful things to take inspiration from, above all creative, kind and peaceful people who help and share, it's difficult to find this in everyday life!! I love stamps, colours and dies, my cards never lack die cut elements.

I love Spring, nature and all animals and recycling, not only for ecological and economic reasons, but above all because everything can be looked at with different eyes and reinvented! When I was a little girl my grandmother, taught me to throw away as little as possible because everything can be used for different purposes. Grandma made me little boats with walnut shells, dolls and puppets by knotting a handkerchief and to keep me busy she gave me paper, Easter eggs, scissors, glue and old boxes... so recycling is in my DNA: I'm a compulsive hoarder 😂, my inspirations very often come from elements that are usually thrown away and I create "free style", without planning or measuring.... I like to follow the flow and see what comes out ðŸ˜Š".

I think you will agree the who team have created a lovely Spring feel with their creations this month and that includes Anne our Guest Designer who we would like to thank for joining us.

March winners and Top 3

Good morning and welcome to our March winners post, it's been a super month with so many beautiful feminine creations, our thanks to you all for joining in.

First our winners as selected by Random Org., who will receive the beautiful Lavinia stamps are, no 12 Anke and no 132 Marlene

Update: As this post published it was evident there was an error with one of the screenshots showing only 13 entries, I've no idea how that happened as 136 entries went into the generator before it made it's selection. So to be fair a further draw has been done and a prize will also go to entry no 74 Steph.

Please all three mail me with your full names and postal address by Thursday 11th April. Overseas prizes are always marked as gifts, but Customs fees may be added so please confirm when claiming you accept that risk as I am unable to assist once prizes leave the UK (if you do not confirm this, your prize will not be sent).

Now for our Top 3 which was a very hard task for the DT this month and several said they changed their minds more than once with all the beautiful entries, but here are our final three in order of selection....
No 8 Nelleke
No 12 Anke
No 92 Lynne

Well done to you all, please collect the Top 3 badge to display on your own blogs.

We will back on Sunday with a new challenge and hope to see you all again then.
