December - Anything Goes

Good Morning, our last challenge of 2020, a year that has presented unimaginable challenges to the whole World and we pray 2021 will be a better one for everyone. For us as crafters, our hobby has been a great source of comfort and we are grateful to each and every one of you who have continued to support us during these difficult times.

Our theme this month is simply........

****** Anything Goes******

So cards, gift tags and bags, hand made gifts and so much more, all we ask is that you remember the focal element of your work must be a stamped image, you can enter up to three pieces of work.

Our winner will receive an A4 stamp set of their choice or stamps to the same value.

Our Featured Designer this month is Helene...........

"Hi, my name is Heléne Ericsson and I live in Umea, in the northern part of Sweden. I have been crafting more or less my entire life but started showcasing my work on https://mummylade.blogspot.com in 2009. Looking at early posts you can clearly see how my taste, and hopefully skills, have developed 😊 I love vintage and shabby chic, rough edges, lace and the colour blue and I have more crafted gift bags and boxes than a person of sound mind would keep😇 Crafting is a great way to relax and clear your head, it’s very rewarding to create items from a blank paper and it is REALLY rewarding to be a part of this world wide crafting community with all the love and support here. I’m very honoured to be featured as a designer here on this challenge and I hope we’ll see each other again in some form. Hold on, hang in there and keep a healthy distance".

Here is Helene's lovely card

And here are the beautifully varied creations from the Design Team..........

November - Christmas

Good morning to you all, I hope you are ready for a new challenge.

This year Christmas cards and hand crafted items are going to be more important and special than ever before as so many of us will be unable to enjoy a normal family Christmas due to the Global COVID situation. So our theme is simply.........

******Christmas******

Anything Christmas so long as the focal element or your work reflects the theme and is hand stamped (or digital). You can enter up to thee times so more chances of winning the super prize.

We also have an announcement to make..........please join is in welcoming Alice to the team, we are so happy to have her with us and I hope you will pop along to her blog to say hello.

We are pleased to welcome Hilary as our very first Featured Designer, here is a little bit about her:

"My name is Hilary Wright and I live in a small market town near the Suffolk coast in the UK. I first started making cards when I retired from a career in the NHS, but it took me a while to gain enough confidence to start sharing my creations on my blog (https://myfiddlingaboutpage.blogspot.com). I needn’t have worried though, as I quickly found this wonderful supportive and encouraging community. My first post was in June 2017 and it feels like I have come a long way since then and have met so many other wonderful card makers. I love the fact that there are so many other people just like me, out there making cards. I would say my style is mainly CAS but I have been know to stray sometimes. I really never knew that I had a creative side, so it is wonderful to now be exploring it".

Thank you Hilary, here is the lovely card she has made.

And the inspiration from the Design Team..............
