Regarding our challenge

A difficult post to write but one which is necessary due to certain Social Media comments and accusations which have been made with regard to how the challenge is run.

The aim of the challenge since June 2010 has always been to provide a forum for crafters to share their artwork along with the opportunity to win prizes provided by generous sponsors.

The Design Team, many of whom are long standing members give their time on a voluntary basis, do not receive any form of inducement and each month provide artwork as inspiration for our entrants and take time to comment on those entries.

I and in turn my team will not be intimidated by gossip or false claims about how the challenge is run. If any crafter has an issue about how the challenge is run then they are welcome to send me a personal e.mail from the link on the challenge blog sidebar. Social Media and closed formats are not the appropriate place and I on behalf of the challenge, my team and sponsors will report to the appropriate body, taking into account GDPR regulations, any such dialogue of which I/we have or may become aware.

Our aim is to provide a friendly environment for crafters and to this end we will not tolerate inappropriate behaviour or comments and regularly review those and our rules to ensure all remain in the best interest of our entrants as a whole.

May - Bright Sunny 🌞 Colours

A sunny good morning to you all, it's time for our May challenge and we hope our theme matches the weather where you live🌞☀️.......

******Bright Sunny Colours******

The title speaks for itself really, all we ask is that the focal element of your creation is hand stamped (or digital) and your entry is bright and sunny. Don't forget you can enter three different pieces of artwork.......they don't have to be cards either so long as they are stamped.

One of our team Leanne has moved on to pastures new, we thank her for the inspiration she has shared with us and wish her well. This means we are looking for one or two new DT's, however we are not having a DT call, so please DO NOT mail us as it will not influence our choice.

Instead, if you think you would fit into our friendly little team all you need to do is......
  • Enter this months challenge put 'DT' against your name when linking.
We will be visiting the blogs of all those interested and inviting new DT/s from those entrants (yes you do need a blog).

This month we welcome Gerrina as our Featured Designer, we loved her pretty yellow floral creation in March and now she has  a lovely journal page to share......

Here is a little bit about Gerrina:

"I am addicted to stamping since the summer of 2010 and still love to learn new techniques and how to work with new materials. I live in the Netherlands and the last few years I make more Art Journal Pages, but still like to make cards too. I like the CAS style, all kinds of water and pigment/aquarel techniques, some Mixed Media and occasionally make scrapbook pages. Blogging is my way of inspire others and get inspired and meet the most talented kind people. I am very honoured to have been invited to be featured designer this month. A huge thank you to the Design Team!"

And some more Sunny inspiration from the Design Team.......
